IVRA’ opens new possibilities for overcoming COVID-19 and cancer

International conference being held successfully. Over 400 global scholars and medical decision-makers have come together.

Attention is given to the COVID-19 research case study using the high-frequency hyperthermia device ‘REMISSION 1℃’

[Medical Newspaper/Daily News = Reporter Oh In-gyu] IVRA (International Virus Research Alliance), which is increasing its reputation as a collaborative organization for the treatment of COVID-19, is expanding its scope and providing new solutions for treatment in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. IVRA picked up the attention by providing a venue to discuss possibilities.

On the 25th, IVRA held an international conference under the theme of ‘Overcoming COVID-19 and Improving Human Health’ in conference room 401 on the 4th floor of COEX. This event was supported by Dr. Raed Arafat, Secretary of State for the Romanian Ministry of the Interior, Dr. Manaouda Malachie, Minister of Health and Welfare of Cameroon, Dr.  Hon Kailesh Kumar Singh JAGUTPAL, Minister of Health and Welfare of Mauritius, Neville Matjie, Managing Director, Strategy and Operations, Trade and Trade of South Africa, Mohamed Jinna, Chairman of the UNWHD, Jaime Cruz, Chairman of JTC Group of the Philippines, Dr. Nagraj of India, Dr. Wu Zibing of China, Malaysia and DR. Razzi. All of their presence added meaning to the event.

Yoo Seung-mo, IVRA organizing committee chairman, said, “IVRA was officially launched last year with medical scholars from around the world who researched the treatment of pandemic viruses such as COVID-19 and shared the same view on treating cancer and pain, which is a common interest of people around the world and a long-cherished dream. I hope to work with leading scholars this year to treat diseases and find alternatives.”

In the first session of the conference, ▲Lessons learned from the front lines due to the COVID-19 pandemic (Professor Lee Kang-hyeon, Yonsei University and Wonju University) ▲The role of hyperthermia therapy among various treatment methods for modern malignant tumors (Professor Jang Hong-seok, Catholic University of Korea) ▲How should we manage  COVID-19 patients? (Yoo Seung-mo, Director of Yesan Myeongji Hospital) ▲A review of the guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 patients at the current time (Kim Seon-man, Director of Hwaseo Yonsei Family Love Clinic) ▲Effectiveness and clinical experience of high-frequency hyperthermia in cancer treatment (Dr. Jebasingh, India) ▲Lectures such as the use of heat in cancer treatment (Dr. Nagraj, India) were presented.

Then, in the second session, ▲Combined prescription of hyperthermia treatment and natural medicine in anti-cancer treatment (Professor Yoo Hwa-seung, Daejeon University Seoul Oriental Hospital, Dr. Jang Hyuk-jun and Dr. Yang Jae-ho) ▲Cases and results of hyperthermia and fluid therapy for treating COVID-19 infected patients (Lee Hyeong-min, President of the Korean Association of Emergency Physicians, Choi Seok-jae and Shin Hyeong-jin) ▲How to combine hyperthermia therapy in modern cancer treatment? (Dr. Raji Malaysia) ▲The role and value of modern hyperthermia therapy in the concurrent treatment of cancer (Dr. Wu Zibing, China) ▲ The role of hyperthermia therapy in cancer treatment (Dr. Ho, Dr. Izzati, UMMC Hospital, Malaysia) ▲Management of cancer pain patients using Pain Bot (non-surgical pain treatment device) (Director Yoo Seung-mo, Yesan Myeongji Hospital) were discussed.

Meanwhile, from the booth, the company AdipoLABs, the representative organizer of the event, captured the attention by focusing on the technology of the high-frequency hyperthermia device ‘REMISSION 1’.

REMISSION 1 raises our body temperature above 40 through high frequency waves, increasing deep heat and therefore causing a necrosis of heat-vulnerable cancer cells while promoting blood circulation and improving immunity. Based on this, the device was certified as a medical device that treats cancer and relieves pain. Since then, it has attracted the attention of medical officials at major domestic and international exhibitions. In addition, recently, the equipment has shown effectiveness in treating COVID-19 patients.

In fact, at the event on this day, the results of a study (effectiveness of heat treatment for viral infection, cancer, and pain) conducted on 20 COVID-19 positive patients since May of last year in cooperation with the Catholic University of Korea's Seoul St. Mary's Hospital and Seosan Medical Center in South Chungcheong Province were introduced, drawing substantial amount of attention.

.

Based on the theory that hyperthermia immunotherapy has a positive effect on resolving the virus when using a high-frequency heater, an attempt was made to combine hyperthermia and immunotherapy. As a result, analysis shows that REMISSION 1℃ can open new possibilities for overcoming COVID-19.

Han Sung-ho, CEO of AdipoLABs, said, “We have confirmed the results of treating asymptomatic or mild patients, preventing them from turning into severe cases, and preventing various diseases through immunotherapy. We will continue to accumulate meaningful results that increase immunity and improve treatment,”
