(Seoul = International News) Reporter Kim Tae-yeop = AdipoLABs received the National Assembly's Health and Welfare Commissioner Award at the KIMES 2019 government award ceremony.
This award recognizes those who have contributed to the development of the medical device industry and export promotion in order to improve the level of international medical device and hospital equipment.
It was awarded to the National Health and Welfare Committee (2 awards), the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy (3), the Minister of Health and Welfare (3), and the Minister of Food and Drug Safety (2)
At the ceremony, Han Sung-ho, CEO of AdipoLABs which is a company specializing in the development of high-frequency medical devices, received a commendation from Representative Lee Myung-soo who is the Chairman of the National Assembly for Health and Welfare.
AdipoLABs is a Korean company that develops and produces high frequency hyperthermia cancer treatment device called REMISSION 1℃.
Mr. Han Sung-ho from AdipoLABs received such commendation since he had developed unique Korean product in the medical market of hyperthermia that was originally occupied by many foreign products. The company AdipoLABs has also been successful in exporting to global market and operated branches in many different countries such as India, China, and Malaysia. The award was given in recognition of the company's high level of achievement.
AdipoLABs' REMISSION 1℃ has a number of cases on cancer patients, including SCIE-class treatises for treating cholangiocarcinoma patients with the combined treatment of hyperthermia and chemotherapy. REMISSION 1℃ is used in many hospitals of South Korea including Seoul St. Mary hospital and also abroad in Oxymed Hospital of India and Gulizstan National Cancer Center in Uzbekistan.
At the ceremony, many people from Korea and abroad, including the President of the United World Halal Development (UNWHD), MOHAMED JINNA celebrated the award together with Han.
On the other hand, AdipoLABs runs a booth at the room of D310 in the 3rd floor of COEX Seoul from March 14th to 17th where visitors can experience the high-frequency hyperthermia cancer treatment device REMISSION 1℃ during 2019 KIMES. There will also be a seminar on heat therapy including hyperthermia treatment at the room of 300 on the 3rd floor at COEX on March 15th.
