AdipoLABs provides free high-frequency hyperthermia cancer treatment device ‘REMISSION 1°C’ to the Cambodian government and actively strives to prevent and treat cancer.
【Health and Welfare News】 AdipoLABs Co., Ltd., the company which has developed its own medical high-frequency hyperthermia cancer treatment device ‘REMISSION1°C’ while currently leading the treatment of cancer patients, is actively working to fulfill its mission of ‘doing its best in helping mankind escape disease and lead a happy life.’
AdipoLABs Co., Ltd. (CEO Han Sung-ho) announced on the 15th that the company would visit Phnom Penh at the invitation of Cambodian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Sakhon Veng. Both sides are willing to exchange updated medical information from now on as well as make joint efforts to prevent and treat cancer.
In particular, it is expected that medical technology exchange between Korea and Cambodia will become more active with the visit of AdipoLABs’ executives and medical staff to Cambodia at this time.
During this visit, which will be accompanied by AdipoLABs CEO Han Sung-ho, research center director Park Sang-won, and Director Yoo Seung-mo of Yesan Myeongji Hospital in South Chungcheong Province, AdipoLABs and Cambodia decided to exchange medical information and make joint efforts for related prevention and treatment.
Prior to this, on August 3rd , AdipoLABs held a donation ceremony to provide free high-frequency hyperthermia cancer treatment device REMISSION 1℃ to the Cambodian government for use in treating cancer patients as well as COVID-19 patients.
This visit to Cambodia was carried out at the invitation of the Cambodian government authorities as an extension of the previous talk.
그동안 아디포랩스 한성호 대표는 ‘인류가 질병으로부터 벗어나고 행복한 삶을 영위하기 위한 소명’을 가지고 암 환자들의 치료 사례를 통해 국가간 의료정보를 공유해 좀 더 많은 이들의 삶에 질을 높이고자 노력해 왔다.
특히 K-의료기기가 세계인에게 주목을 받기 시작하는 것을 계기로 앙골라, 콰테말라 등 무상지원 사업을 계속해 왔으며 후속 지원을 위해 이번에 캄보디아를 방문해 리미션1℃ 암환자 치료를 위한 시술 및 교육을 진행했다.
이번 방문에서 캄보디아 농림부 Sakhon Veng장관은 “캄보디아에서 암치료기로 허가 받을 수 있도록 적극 지원할 것”이라며 향후 프놈펜에서 암치료 전문병원을 지원하고 대한민국의 의료진과 아디포랩스의 협력하에 암환자를 치료하는 로드맵을 제시했다.
이에 대해 한성호 대표는 “긍정적으로 검토하겠다”며 “이번을 방문을 계기로 한국과 캄보디아 간 의료기술 교류가 더욱 발전할 수 있는 시발점이 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
한편 아디포랩스가 자체 개발한 고주파온열암치료기인 ‘리미션1℃’는 2015년 10월 암 치료 목적으로 식품의약품안전처의 승인을 받고 유럽 CE인증은 물론 할랄 인증과 말레이시아 MDA 인증을 획득한 검증된 의료기기이다.
리미션1℃는 인체에 고주파 통전을 통해 심부열을 발생시켜 열에 약한 암세포를 괴사시키는 기전을 가지고 있어 국내뿐 아니라 해외 암 환자들에게도 암 치료의 새로운 희망으로 부상하고 있다.
특히 리미션1℃는 코로나19 환자 치료에도 효과적인 것으로 국내 임상을 통해 밝혀져 세계 각국으로부터 많은 관심을 끌고 있다.
