‘IVRA International Medical Conference’ held to share the latest knowledge on ‘cancer treatment-pain management’
The ‘2022 IVRA International Medical Conference’ (IVRA, International Virus Research Alliance), a gathering of medical professionals and scholars from over 30 countries around the world, will be held in Room 401 of COEX Conference Room in Samseong-dong, Seoul on the 25th.
This conference will provide an opportunity for ambassadors to Korea and high-ranking foreign government officials from over 30 countries around the world to present COVID-19 virus, cancer treatment, and pain management protocols and share successful treatment results from around the world based on various methods and latest knowledge.
The presenters at the event were IVRA Chairman and Professor Kang-Hyeon Lee of Wonju Yonsei University College of Medicine, IVRA Research Committee Chairman and Professor Jang Hong-Seok of the Catholic University of Korea, IVRA Co-Chairman and Chungcheongnam-do Health and Healthcare Subcommittee Chairman Dr. Seungmo Yoo, IVRA Vice Chairman and Yonsei Family Love Clinic Director Kim Seon-Man, and Cancer Hospital Nanabiti Hospital, India. Specialist Dr. Nagraj, oncologist Dr. Damodara of Ponticherry Hospital in India, Professor Yoo Hwa-seung, director of Daejeon University's Seoul Oriental Hospital, Director Yang Jae-ho, director of Chihyu Oriental Medicine Hospital (Jongno), Director Jang Hyuk-jun of Chihyu Oriental Medicine Hospital (Dogok), and President Lee Hyeong-min of the Korean Academy of Emergency Medicine Medical Association, Malaysian cancer specialist Dr. Laci, Chinese cancer specialist Professor Wu Zibing, Malaysian cancer specialist Dr. Ho, Malaysian cancer specialist Dr. Izzati, and AdipoLabs’ CEO Han Sung-ho.
In particular, distinguished foreign guests attending the event on this day included Raed Arafat (currently Secretary of State of the Romanian Ministry of the Interior and Director of the National Emergency Situations Office), Manaudo Malić (currently Minister of Health and Welfare of Cameroon), Jagutupal (Minister of Health and Welfare of Mauritius), Nevel Matidje (Minister of Health and Welfare of South Africa/ Managing Director of Trade Strategy and Operations), Mohamed Jinna (Chairman of the UNWHD), and Jaime Cruz (Chairman of Philippine PLC Group).
Among the contents to be announced at this IVRA is 'the effects of hyperthermia treatment related to viral infection, cancer, and pain'. Particularly, Seosan Medical Center in South Chungcheong Province and Seoul St. Mary's Hospital have collaborated to conduct clinical treatment on about 25 COVID-19 positive patients since May of last year. They will introduce meaningful research results from treatment-related medical staff.
The research team said “We have attempted to combine hyperthermia with immunotherapy which has a positive effect on overcoming viruses when using a high-frequency hyperthermia device. This treatment was performed using the medical high-frequency hyperthermia device REMISSION 1℃ to reduce fever. We discovered the principle that treatment is effective. This will serve as a treatment guide to move towards the end of COVID-19. Now, it is possible to treat asymptomatic or mild patients, prevent them from turning into severe cases. We can prevent various diseases through hyperthermia immune treatment. We confirmed meaningful research results.”
