The 5th IVRA (International Virus Research Alliance) international conference was held on November 25th from 9:00 to 18:00 (local time) at the Le Meridien Hotel in Cyber ​​Jaya, Malaysia.

 

In particular, this academic conference was attended by approximately 250 Korean IVRA organizing committee members as well as scholars specializing in cancer treatment from Southeast Asian countries, including Malaysia, India, and Singapore.

 

In addition, Malaysian government officials, broadcasting officials, and medical staff from over 10 countries shared the clinical results of ‘REMISSION 1, a high-frequency hyperthermia cancer treatment device.

 

In Korea, about 50 medical staff including Professors Jang Hong-seok and Kang Young-nam of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Catholic University of Korea's Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, Lee Kang-hyeon, former dean of Yonsei University Wonju University, Director Yoo Seung-mo of Yesan Myeongji Hospital in South Chungcheong Province, chairman of the IVRA organizing committee, U.S. MD Anderson tenure-track professor Kim Eui-shin, former Konkuk University Hospital director Jang Sang-geun, and Kim Seon-man of Suwon Amirang Clinic participated.

 

In addition, many renowned medical scholars attended, including Malaysian cancer treatment authorities Dr. Ho Gwo Fuang, Kenny Yong Yean Sirn, and Dr. Zawawi Abdullah, University of Cyberjaya Chairman Kalaiarasu Malayandi, and Indian Dr. Paramjit Kaur, Damodara Kumaran, Nagraj G. Huilgol, and N.R.Datta. On this day, the scholars shared prolific data about hyperthermia cancer treatment.

Through this Malaysian academic conference, IVRA members and medical staff from each country were able to evaluate the event as a meaningful one that displays future directions for cancer treatment.
