International conference ‘IVRA’ held to share hope in medical care to overcome COVID-19

Medical staff and scholars from over 30 countries around the world have created the International Virus Research Alliance (IVRA), a joint collaboration for the treatment of COVID-19.
This is a conference where medical staff and scholars from around the world gather to actively respond to the future with Corona era.
Dr. Yoo Seung-mo (Chairman of the Health and Healthcare Subcommittee of the Chungcheongnam-do External Cooperation Strategy Committee) and Professor Lee Kang-hyun Lee of Wonju Severance Christian Hospital were appointed as the first IVRA organizing committee chairs, and Governor Yang Seung-jo of Chungcheongnam-do made a congratulatory speech.
About 50 people participate in the advisory committee, including former Dankook University medical center director Park Woo-sung (Cancer cancer center promotion committee chairman), Catholic University of Medicine Professor Jang Hong-seok, Yonsei University Medical School Professor Hwang Sung-oh, Catholic University of Medicine Professor Kang Young-nam, Chung Yoon-jae of Chung-Ang University, Kim Ho-jung of Soonchunhyang University, and Lee Hyung-min of Kyunghee University Medical School.
Among the contents to be announced at this IVRA are ‘the effect of hyperthermia treatment on viral infections’.
It will be shared about the treatment cases of about 20 COVID-positive patients who agreed to thermal immunotherapy at Seosan Medical Center in Chungcheongnam-do province.
