Whosaeng  AdipoLABs Co., Ltd., which is leading the treatment of cancer patients around the world with its high-frequency hyperthermia cancer treatment device REMISSION1°C, is donating medical devices for the treatment of COVID-19 as well as cancer treatment for medically vulnerable groups in Sri Lanka. AdipoLABs is taking the lead in practicing love that transcends borders.

On the 8th, AdipoLABs (CEO Han Sung-ho) provided cancer treatment device for medically vulnerable groups in Sri Lanka as well as COVID-19 treatment through the mediation of IIDA (International Interchange Development Association (Chairman Yong-jo Moon)) at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Korea. A donation ceremony was held that day.

The Association for International Exchange and Development serves as a bridge for world peace by promoting mutual exchanges in various fields around the world, promoting mutual understanding between countries and companies, and donating and volunteering necessary goods to countries and citizens in need.

Also, at the donation ceremony on this day, LG Household & Health Care held a donation ceremony for goods for the underprivileged in Sri Lanka, and a legendary boxer, Hong Soo-wan, who won two weight classes in world boxing and is a public relations member of the International Exchange Development Association, was in attendance as well.

Due to the lack of smooth supply of COVID-19 vaccines around the world, many countries are still unable to escape the pain of the disease caused by COVID-19 infection.

Accordingly, AdipoLABs is collaborating with related medical staff to strive not only for cancer treatment but also for COVID-19 treatment with the humanitarian mission of 'healthy life', securing data through various clinical trials and procedures.

Under the circumstance, AdipoLABs decided to donate Remission 1℃ to the medically vulnerable groups in Sri Lanka suffering from COVID-19 through the Association for International Exchange and Development. AdipoLABs donated medical equipment free of charge.

CEO Han Sung-ho said, “Despite the internal and external economic difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which continues in 2021, Remission 1℃ has helped the health of many patients. “We achieved meaningful results in treating the virus.”

In particular, he expressed confidence, saying, “By donating Sri Lanka’s Remission 1℃, we will be able to overcome COVID-19 and prove the effectiveness of immunotherapy for many patients infected with the COVID-19 virus in Sri Lanka and around the world.”

AdipoLABs’ executives and staff expect that the high-frequency hyperthermia device Remission 1℃ developed with domestic technology will be demanded tremendously by the global medical device market after contributing not only to cancer treatment but also to the end of the COVID-19 virus.

Meanwhile, AdipoLABs' high-frequency hyperthermia cancer treatment device 'REMISSION1°C' received manufacturing permission from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in October 2015 and sequentially received US FDA registration, ISO13485 certification, and RoHS certification. Even amidst the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, REMISSION1°C obtained European CE certification and Malaysian MDA certification.

In particular, AdipoLABs has obtained Halal certification and Sharia certification that is applicable to over 110 countries for Remission 1℃ and all cosmetics products, from the United World Halal Development (UNWHD), ASEAN. By establishing a bridgehead for exports to the Islamic countries of the Middle East, the company has solidified its export base by proving the excellence and stability of its products.

AdipoLABs' Remission 1℃ raises the body temperature above 40℃ through high frequency waves, increasing deep heat and causing necrosis of heat-vulnerable cancer cells while promoting blood circulation and improving immunity.

Based on this mechanism, Remission 1℃ has been certified as a medical device that treats cancer and relieves pain. Remission 1℃ attracted the attention of domestic and foreign medical officials at many global exhibitions such as KIMES 2019 and 'Middle East & Asia Business Expo 2018' held in October 2018, as well as the '35th International Medical Devices and Hospital Equipment Exhibition' held in March 2019.
